As the Head of Electronic Resources and Computer Services, Jackie is responsible for managing the Student Computing Department, selecting and marketing electronic resources, coordinating the Bloomberg Law, Lexis Advance, and WestlawNext accounts, and providing reference service and classroom research instruction. She teaches Advanced Legal Research as well as Litigation and ADR Legal Research and guest lectures on legal research in the first-year LAWR program.
Jackie has her JD from The University of Akron School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and practiced law before returning to Kent State University and obtaining her MLIS. Prior to joining the University of Iowa Law Library, Jackie was the Digital Content and Reference Services Librarian at the Cleveland Marshall College of Law Library
Her professional memberships include the American Association of Law Libraries, the Mid-American Association of Law Libraries, and the American Bar Association.
