Capitol Words analyzes word frequency in the Congressional Record. Type a word in the search box, and Capitol Words produces several graphs plotting when and how often the word was used, and by which legislator. For example, typing the phrase “security leaks” into the search box produces several graphs: one shows a timeline indicating the numbers of times the phrase is used by legislators, while a pie chart indicates by which party the phrase is most frequently used. Capitol Words also lists which legislators mentioned the phrase and how often. Data goes back to 1996. Proceed to Capitol Words.
