During Fall 2013 the College of Law will be offering a 2 credit course on advanced legal research in foreign, comparative, and international law (FCIL). Taking this course can provide you with, inter alia, (i) invaluable resources for working on the journal of Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems or any of the other College of Law journals, and (ii) great preparation for participating in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. The knowledge gained will not only give students an edge in seeking employment, but will also provide the tools for enhanced performance in clerkships, summer associate placements, and post-graduate positions.
The course registration information is: Fall 2013, Law, Department 091, Course 285 (91:285). The class will meet Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Here is a link to the course description: http://www.law.uiowa.edu/library/education_outreach.php.
