The Law Library has two new systems to facilitate access to resources not owned by a University of Iowa library. You can now set up an interlibrary loan account and submit requests online by visiting this link and choosing Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery.
The other option available at the above link is UBorrow. UBorrow allows you to search the catalogs from other Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions, the University of Chicago, and the Center for Research Libraries, and directly request circulating items. Books borrowed through UBorrow offer a generous twelve-week loan period, as well as an option to renew for four additional weeks. Books requested through UBorrow will typically arrive within one week. For more about UBorrow, as well as tutorials on using UBorrow, please visit this library guide.
If you need assistance with these new systems, please contact Eric Earhart, firstname.lastname@example.org, who oversees interlibrary loan.
