Harvard Law Library has created a digital collection of the papers of the Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story (1779-1845), who was also the Harvard Law School Dane Professor from 1829 until his death. The Joseph Story Digital Suite includes his three-volume Digest of Various Court Decisions, papers between 1796-1845, including correspondence with leading figures of Massachusetts and beyond, and a manuscript draft of his Commentaries on the Law of Promissory Notes. Complementing these components are images of Story from the Harvard Law Library’s Art and Visual Materials Collection, the Harvard Fine Arts Library's Special Collections, and the Harvard Art Museum’s Portrait/Clock Collections. Altogether the archive holds 126 items totaling 3,534 pages. Proceed to the Joseph Story Digital Suite.
