This new collection provides access to superseded statutory codes for Northern, Western, and Eastern European countries, as well as commentaries on and analysis of the codes. Statutory codes are available in English, Dutch, French, German, Irish, and Italian. This collection compliments Making of Modern Law: Foreign, Comparative and International Law, 1600 -1926 which provides access to an invaluable collection of legal treatises, historical records and works from the 17th century to the beginning of the 20th century digitized from the collections at Yale Law Library, the George Washington University Law Library, and the Columbia Law Library.
