Summer Access for Continuing Students

Bloomberg Law and Lexis Advance offer continued summer access to students for both academic and work purposes.  Summer access to Westlaw, however, is offered in more limited circumstances and must be requested.  Please follow the hyperlinks for more details on summer access to each of these systems.

Graduate Access

Bloomberg Law

Spring 2017 graduates may use their Bloomberg Law IDs for up to six months after graduation. Graduates do not need to register for this access.


Lexis Advance

Spring 2017 graduates will have access to Lexis Advance until 12/31/2017. Graduates do not need to register for this access.

Lexis Rewards points for spring graduates will expire on June 30, 2017. In July, graduates can select a graduation gift from Lexis when logging into their Lexis account at These gifts include a six month subscription to one of the following:

  • Lexis Practice Advisor
  • Law360
  • Lexis for Microsoft Office

ASPIRE for Non-Profit Work

Any spring graduate going into non-profit work may apply for a LexisNexis ASPIRE ID, which lasts for 12 months beyond graduation. Spring grads can go to for more information on how to apply. Please note all applicants will need a letter on the non-profit’s letterhead confirming employment.


Graduating students may apply for post-graduation access to Westlaw. This access is for 60 hours per month, from June through November of the graduation year, regardless of when the extension is granted.
