Biographical Information

Edward Seeds graduated from the University of Iowa Law Department in 1877. He practiced law in Iowa for many years before serving as a state senator in Delaware. He resigned in 1890 to become associate justice of the New Mexico Supreme Court.  In 1895, he returned to Iowa as a member of the law faculty. He served as a professor until 1898.
