Students, faculty, and staff have off-campus access to many of the Law Library’s databases and e-journals, as well as university-wide databases, e-journals, and e-books, through the University Libraries’ proxy server.
To access electronic resources while off-campus, locate the database you would like to access in the Law Library’s Electronic Resources list or in the University Libraries’ A-Z List of Databases. You may access e-journals and e-books by searching InfoHawk+. When accessing a restricted resource from off-campus through these channels, you will automatically be prompted to enter your HawkID and password.
You may also log in directly to the University Libraries’ proxy server, at https://login.proxy.lib.uiowa.edu, to facilitate off-campus access to electronic resources.
Don't know your HawkID? Your entry in the University Directory includes your HawkID.
If you are having difficulties accessing Law Library resources, please contact us.
