Biographical Information

Jennifer is the Law Library’s Assistant Director for Access and Collections.

Jennifer has been teaching, both formally and informally, since 2011 on a variety of basic and advanced legal research topics, legal technology, professionalism, and undergraduate courses related to acclimating to college life. She regularly writes, presents, and focuses her attention on topics related to legal research and instruction, the access and development of library collections, legal technology, and professional/personal development and mentorship. Prior to joining Iowa Law, Jennifer was the Head of Collection Services at Washington and Lee University School of Law and the Assistant Director for Collection Development, Acquisitions, and Serials and an Assistant Professor of Law Library Services at Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law. She is a first-generation college student and an inactive member of the Indiana State Bar.

Jennifer received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in History from Indiana University, a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of Law, and a M.S.L.S. from the School of Information Science at the University of Kentucky.

Jennifer is a member of several professional associations including the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries (ORALL), the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL), the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), and the American Bar Association (ABA).
