Biographical Information

A. Leo Levin earned his bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University in 1939 and his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 1942. He taught law at University of Iowa College of Law from 1947 to 1949. Thereafter he was a member of the faculty at University of Pennsylvania Law School, taking emeritus status in 1989. He was also director of the Federal Judicial Center from 1977 to 1987.
