Professor Odis K. Patton was an Associate Professor at the University of Iowa School of Law from 1923 to 1926, and a full Professor of Law from 1927 until he retired as a Professor Emeritus in 1957. He was a faculty editor of the Iowa Law Review. After he retired, Professor Patton was a visiting professor of law at Ohio State University and West Virginia University. Professor Patton received his B.A., M.A., Ph.D., and law degree from the University of Iowa. In June 1923, Professor Patton obtained an S.J.D. from Harvard. In 1924, Professor Patton took a leave of absence from his teaching duties to serve on the Iowa Code Commission.
