The main entrance to the Boyd Law Building is located on the south side of the building at the end of Melrose Avenue. The entrance to the Law Library is accessible from the second floor of the Boyd Law Building, which is the main level.
Metered parking is available south of the building. There are eight coin meters across the driveway including one handicap accessible space. The maximum time allotted on these meters is two hours. You must bring coins with you; change cannot be made anywhere in the Boyd Law Building.
The five meters directly in front of the building do not accept coins. They allow for 30 minutes of free parking by pushing the button on the meter. You must push the button to trigger the courtesy 30 minute period or you may be ticketed by Parking Services.
Additional hourly-rate public parking may be found in the Field House Lot, west of the Boyd Law Building on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Grand Avenue. Lot 34 immediately south of the Boyd Law Building is a gated lot restricted to law school personnel and eligible law school students. Lot 31 adjacent to the Boyd Law Building loading dock is restricted to law school personnel at all times.
