William V. Phelan

Biographical Information

William Phelan held a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin and a legal degree from Notre Dame University.  He served as a lecturer at University of Iowa College of Law from 1955 to 1991, teaching courses in insurance, trusts, estates, and probate.  He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He practiced estate law in Iowa until the time of his death in 2013.
