As Cataloging and Metadata Librarian, Tommy helps manage and produce the bibliographic records for library materials and resources. His focus areas are in classification, record maintenance, and information organization. Before coming to the University of Iowa, Tommy had spent time working at the United States Senate Library in Washington, D.C. and the University of Virginia School of Law Library. Tommy has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Mary Washington and an MSIS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. When not at the library, you can find Tommy swimming laps at a pool, listening to live music, or spending time with his wife and two cats.
