As Communications & Outreach Librarian, Suzette is responsible for creating, implementing, and assessing communication strategies as well as planning and advertising library events and initiatives. Suzette also provides reference service and serves on the Law Library’s grant-funded People’s Law Library of Iowa (PLL) team. 

Before joining the University of Iowa Law Library, Suzette designed and taught a large online course aimed at helping undergraduate students transition successfully to the University of Iowa. She developed communication standards and strategies for the course and supported in-person orientation. Before that, she worked in instructional technology and as a reference librarian. She has a passion for connecting people with the information they need at the time they need it most.

Suzette holds an MA in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa along with a certificate in Book Studies.
